What it is
A star map is a custom print of the exact night sky above a specific location at a specific moment in time. Every star and constellation is plotted using real astronomical data from the HYG Star Catalogue, one of the most comprehensive star databases in the world, containing over 119,000 stars.
How it's made
You choose your date, time and place. Our system calculates the precise position of every visible star from that exact point on Earth using your latitude and longitude coordinates. Because the Earth rotates, even the hour matters — the sky at 9pm looks completely different to the sky at midnight. The result is a map that is unique to your moment; one that has never existed before and never will again.
